I think I finally have everything all set for the house/gecko sitters and have 90% of the stuff I'm bringing ready. Now I've just got to gets me some sleeeeeeppp...
WooHoo! I can't beleive I will be in texas tomorrow!
Hopefully all my Geckos will be al right, Bobby is going to water all the Rhac Geckos for me, but I don't expect him to feed all my Geckos. I am sure they will be fine, I will feed them Friday morning before I leave, and will feed them again Monday night when I get home.
I am glad the Snow Storms hit when they did, if they came a day or 2 later, I wouldn't have been able to fly out!
I hope you all have safe travels! We only have to drive about 5 hours tomorrow so it shouldn't be too bad. But it is going to be in the 30's brrrr...lol.
I have soooo much to do to get ready to be gone. I have given my daughter directions on how to feed the two new hatchlings and I'll have my husband & kids check for eggs, but nothing is due to hatch and I'm doing the same feeding on Friday & Monday so everyone should be all set!! I'm really only worried about getting Tuesday's lecture ready so I don't have to do that Monday night.
Safe travels everyone!!! See you Saturday morning!!
I think this will be the longest period of time that I've been away from my animals in a llllooonnnggg time. Fortunately, my dog's staying with her favorite person in the whole wide world (nope, not me. lol) and I have three awesome people watching the house and taking care of the geckos. (They've been getting "de-briefed' for the past two months. )
It's a good thing I ordered a back-up order of insects. I just finished un-boxing 4,000 dead superworms and 2,000 dead crickets. This is one good thing about the frigid temperatures here--the garbage won't smell too bad being frozen in the garage!
