I don't really like Grossman either but bears fans will have to deal with it. I don't anybody thinks of him as really good though. Commentators and analysts rip on him all the time for being inconsistent.

I think Grossman is holding Chicago back, I don't see anything between them and atleast the conference championship game if they had a different QB. I personally don't have a favorite NFL team, because I am more of a college football fan, but if I had to choose it would be the Steelers, I mean geez, what do we have here? The Falcons?? HA

I have to say, it was really nice breaking out the jerseys yesterday. Even though the game started off a huge mess, the Steelers pulled through and destroyed the Browns! I've been waiting for this for a long time.

Greg, I am a die hard football fan, and even more of a Bears fan. I honestly do not see them going very far with this team. If they make some trades, that might change. We do not have a running game like we are used to. Thomas Jones did way more than rush for 4 yards/carry. His receptions bailed out Grossman more than anything last year. His blocking was better than Benson, too. I don't think Grossman will be AS shifty this year, but he is going to have an extremely rough time without a backfield. Peterson has yet to prove he can go more than 15 yards per game without a fumble. I don't see it happening this year

Excuse me? Dallas led the league in penalties this week AND IN POINTS!!! If that doesn't scream best offense I don't know what you are smoking. Granted the Giants D wasn't too good, but don't even retaliate with how good the Colts or the Pats did, they were playing defenses not even worth mentioning.

I also find it entertaining that they all say the NFC is weak, sure the AFC has the toughest teams, and save for Pitt's division, they are all in seperate divisions with the leagues WORST teams. While the NFC's teams may not be as dominate, their divisions are all tough. SO I don't wanna here it .

I agree... I do feel the best of the AFC is better than the best of the NFC, but as a whole, it is far from being like the MLB's AL and NL.

To add to my post before about why I don't think the Bears will do that great this year o ) is the rest of the NFC North this year. They are all strong and match up very well against the Bears.

I like the Bears and all but I don't see them doing as well this year as last. Their schedule is not a cake walk like it was last year.
