I still see Da Bears winning the division. One game does not a season make! Benson was bad, Grossman didn't fare better but most of all, fumbles killed us. We Should be able to bounce back though. Let's be optimistic.:p When it's all said and done I think the Bears record will be 11-5. That's what I'm bettin on!:main_thumbsup:

That loss was not Grossman's fault...I do think they will still win the division, but I don't see them going anywhere in the playoffs. I hope to God I am wrong....

Packers fan right here. Yeah I know I'm a BIG cheese head. I don't see them making the playoffs although I would love to see them atleast do that, I am a realist. Favre is obviously going down hill (he's still better then some of the QB's around the league) and he doesn't have the talent around him to help to there.

I am very excited for that. Huge Bears fan, but Romo went to school at Eastern Illinois and Sam Hurd went to my school (NIU), so I'de like them to do well. So, Ill just hope for a Bears 28-14 win and Hurd with 150 yards and 2 TDs. :D

Hee hee hee I don't think it will be that easy for you guys. Its cool that you went to the same school that Hurd went to though. I think Dallas is going to score a mite more than 14 points, and the Bears scoring less than 28. But hell anything can happen. I mean did you see what the Browns did on sunday?!?!

Nothing against Lovey and his boys, but I don't think Chicago's capable of puting 28 points on the boards. And as much as I dislike the Cowboys (and the dislike goes back literally decades), they shouldn't have a problem winning this one. :main_yes:

the steelers will have 4 wins minimum by week 6 (their bye week).

I'm excited to see what the season holds for them..it's always a guessing game with a new coach, but so far it's been good. Last year was so awful, mostly because it seemed like Cowher's knew he was done and just stopped caring. It's also nice to have a coach who isn't constantly sceaming and spitting on the entire team. :main_thumbsup:

Aww but I liked Cowhers protruding chin... :p. But in all honesty I think the steelers will do pretty well under Tomlin this year. Its really too early to tell anything right now, I mean look at last year's number one offense... the Saints aren't looking to hot with only 1 offensive td and fieldgoal under thier belt this season...

they replaced cowher's chin with steely mcbeam's, no big difference there (except i don't think steely is rigged up with a saliva supersoaker).

I'm sorry nothing against the mascot but that name is by far the corniest thing I have ever heard. And I am a man who loves Puns.

Well, I think that game last night backed up my "bears aren't gonna do anything this year" theory WAYYYY more than I expected. Romo impressed me. We pressured him more than I have seen a QB pressured in years, and those were the big-gain plays. After the first drive I thought maybe Benson could turn things around, but he slipped back to his average numbers. And I'm REALLY getting tired of trying to backup Grossman. Hes giving me nothing to work with anymore....

Yeah Grossman is the Bear's only real downfall that I can see, and probably getting rid of Thomas Jones. Your offensive line isn't bad, I think Grossman makes them worse though. All in all though I am happy. But it sucks because some Bears got hurt. I like the Bears so seeing them go down kinda made me a little sad. I think Briggs and Vasher went down due to a groin injury or something. Hope it isn't too bad.
