ARRRRRRRRRGGGGG!! FedEx!!

I finally received my Geckos from Mel at 1:32 pm today from good ole FedEx

They were scheduled for overnight delivery before 10:30 am with a supposed hour and a half delay

They were rescheduled for 12 noon delivery (figuring in the delay) and when the driver finally got there he admitted to missing them on the earlier "Express" delivery

I am soooooooooo glad that it was very cool here today and both geckos are just fine-with Mel's excellent packing job

We had some stress going there for a while-didn't we Mel?

I'm beat and going to take a nap
Just wanted to vent

Oh-and YES-they are refunding the full amount of shipping

Anybody else have Geckos delayed today with FedEx??

:argue: no but i had to ship some fat tailed geckos today and the guy at the ups store said they didnt ship animals anymore so il yelled at him and went to fedex instead

ya he really pissed me off i told him ive shipped animals out through you guys before and he said there was no way i could of done that. i really wanted to beat the Shxx out of him

My leachie from Tamara was delayed like that. I'm not sure if they gave them any money back, but it was very stressful. She didn't arrive until just before 3pm.

Having reptiles shipped to me wears me out-lol
But I would not have 95% of the lizards that I keep if I didn't buy on line

They are doing great and I have settled down -finally!

I am letting them settle in before I try and get some pics in natural light from an inside window tomorrow

Technically, some of the UPS stores don't ship live animals. I know the ones that are combined with another business such as a UPS inside an office supply, etc. sometimes have store policies that don't allow live animals. If it was a regular UPS hub then maybe the guy didn't know what he was talking about.


Anyway, yes, yesterday was crazy stressful! I guess a conveyor belt at the Memphis hub broke and put many shipments an hour and a half behind...ughh. It's always something isn't it? lol
