My FIRST EVER hatchling was born!!!!! Im SOOOOO excited!!! I was waiting all week and finally around like 10pm i checked the incubator to see this little(should be) guy. He was walking around and everything whithin 10 minutes of hatching. He screamed a little bit:main_laugh: but not much lol. But im sort of confused.....her mom is a tremper albino giant and father is a tremper hybino. But she looks nothing like her parents. She looks normal to me.....im not sure though....Anyways he has these white spots behind each of his eyes that look soo cool to me. Ive never seen them on a leo before. Here are the pics-

Looks like a normal to me too, but he is still an absolutely gorgeous little guy!! I LOVE the white spots above his eyes, that is really cool! Congratulations on your first hatchling :) I like the name, too, very creative

Im positive on the mothers genetics as i got her at an expo right from ron tremper but im not sure of the fathers because i bought him from a whole-sale seller. I do know he is tremper hybino though. Here are some pics if you want to see-

It looks like a normal Giant to me. Are you sure that the father is not a Bell Hybino? At 38 days I'm assuming it was incubated at a fairly high temp so there's no way it could be a ridiculously dark Tremper.

when i got the father it was an unknown morph but some people on here told me tremper hybino. It was never confirmed by there was alot of people that voted tremper. It could be bell though. If it is bell what would the baby be? I know crossing albino strains is frowned upon. Would it be normal giant het bell and het tremper? Im sorry im not that great with morphs and genetics. Im almost 100% positive its a giant though because i compared the sizes to my 3month old and he was almost as large as it.

well that could be confusing in the future.....i can see why its frowned upon

The hatchling is almost certainly a normal het Tremper and het Bell.

I did not realize that this could happen.. I figured if the albino strain didn't match, there would be no het. at all.. Thanks for the info, because we have a tremper pair and a few rainwater females amongst our collection, and that helps a lot :)

So if i were to breed this male back to the female would i get trempers? or bells?.....

If you breed future (female) babies to the father you could get Bells 50% possible het Tremper and normals 100% het Bell and 50% possible het Tremper.

If you breed one of these males to the mother you can get Trempers 50% possible het Bell and normals 100% het Tremper and 50% possible het Bell.

If you decide to sell any of them you should just let the potential buyers know about all of the genetic possibilities.

Well turns out the baby IS a really dark tremper. He had his first shed and is already lighter
