'She' just hatched and I'm so happy to have hatched her! This was a double Mack Snow clutch to boot! Plus this one and the MS het Blizzard have solid black eyes!

I'll get some better pics once 'she' has settled in...

That puts me at one 'Eclipse' Mack Snow 66% het Blizzard, one 'Eclipse' Mack Snow het Blizzard, two 'Eclipse' Blizzards and one 'Eclipse' Mack Snow Blizzard!

I'll post my thoughts on the Blizzard eye trait after the season is over, but I will say that it definitely likes to mingle with the Mack Snow gene.

Right on...you'll love the color change it takes on in the first few days...I hatched a regular blizzard today, and there was no comparing it to my Mack Snow Blizzard!!

Congrats!

Great congrat's i think my possible mack snow blizzard is 100% mack snow blizzard. As it's well lighter white than it siblings no yellow' also has full tinted eyes :D .It does look as if the blizzard strain eclipse(tinted) gells with the mack snow but not standed colors morph from my result so far ?.my male blizzing blizzard has normal eyes bar a small speck he throws tinted this was my result.Blazzing blizzard X mack snow het albino & blizzard = 2 partial tinted blizzards,1 tinted mack snow blizzard.BUT the same male,Blazzing blizzard X albino pattternless = 2 albino het blizzard & patternless but both have normal non tinted albino eyes.So it's a puzzeler how it work maybe something to do with the gene that's gives blizzards and mack snow's there whiter appearance.Would they be the same gene that maybe why they gell ?? don't know ??.I woder if it would gell with TUG & Albery's or GEM snows also maybe even pure (FASCIOLATUS).Be interesting to see if you get a non snow banded nomal with tinted ? i'm sure you'll be sharing them pic's anyway :main_yes: .Maybe over thinking but maybe the gene that make them whiter maybe the same reason why mack super snows has solid black eyes also ?? as they are VERY white in colour ofcourse there + black but not + yellow ??.I think it's deffantly going to be a :wall: for quite a while :D .

Here newer of two of my older babys tinted mack snow blizzard & partial tinted blizzard think you can guess which is which :D .

Thanks Chris, Kyle, Rebecca, Brett and Gazz!

Gazz, I've also noticed that the sibs never seem to have solid eyes. I definitely agree that your's is a MS Blizzard as well.

I would have to totally disagree, siblings do have black eyes and can possess normal colored eyes. I h ave had bliz snows and siblings a like posses black eyes("eclipsed") I think that is a beautiful blizzard, but to be honest im not sold on if its a blizzard snow. It looks very dark to be a snow, every blizzard snows i have hatch have been very light and have almost a purplish grey hue to them.

I have attached some pics of babies and sub adults for comparison. Not the hue these guys possess. THis will be a tough morph to distinguish for awhile, most will have to be test bred before knowing for sure.

Again im not trying to impead on your post just add alittle insight to this riddle of a morph. But if everything was clear/cut it would be as fun right....lol Nice leos once again, maybe better shots, without flash would be a better representation?
