I just got back home and unpacked from New York! Completely exhausted but it was totally worth it!

The last show of X-Japan's first USA tour was awesome!!!! The tickets were a birthday gift to my boyfriend , and he said it was the best birthday gift ever :main_thumbsup:! We got to meet some nice people in line (for 4 hours), get filmed for the concert DVD, and Yoshiki :drummer: bought everyone in line PIZZA!!!!!

Downside was almost getting crushed by the crowd and not getting any cool souvenirs because of the INSANELY HUGE CROWD in front of the merchandise table :( (we would have been stuck waiting for at least an hour)! Also my hair was a complete mess after the concert, nothing but snarls :main_angry:!

But we were soooo close to the stage!!! And Sugizo :guitarist: played the American national anthem on the electric violin!!! And then we got to sing happy birthday to Toshi, the lead singer!!!!

I know I'm a total concert noob compared to some people but this was absolutely amazing!!! We are...X!!!!

Damn, i didn't know X japan was still around lol. I listened to them when i was a kid. Some of their music is alright, some of it is pretty depressing, like "forever love" for instance. Glad you had a good time though, i hear they sound great live.

X-Japan got back together fairly recently if I remember rightly, there was some to-do last year about a world tour but Yoshiki hurt his neck, or something like that and they canceled. I like just about all of their music, even the depressing stuff (then again girls are weird about emotional stuff :p) They sound amazing live, but the pit is something I could do without...hopefully if they do another tour its at a venue with seats.

i think so too... but i think i can do it }:).. maybe lol
Willing to share who/what the epic concert is going to be?

My boyfriend and I are really hoping they do another US tour after the new album comes out. I think he's hoping they'll do the full 30 minute Art of Life instead of the cut down version. He got so giddy when yoshiki started playing the piano for that song.
