I've been getting my mealies from Sunshine Mealworms. The service/support has been wonderful as have the quality of the feeders. The prices have seemed very reasonable to me (I have been buying the bulk mealies...about 4,ooo at a time). Hope that helps a little.

Well I think the best idea for you in go go with a supplier in you area. Im here in Cali and I just started using http://www.bcrcricket.com. There here in Cali so the shipping is fine for 500 Mealies I payed like $10 and some change. The closer the supliar usully the cheper the S&H.

I too use sunshine for my mealies and I just switched some of my bigger ones to supers and the love them. All the feeders are always plump and healthy Debbe and Nicole are great. I found that they are very reasonable. I'm sure when figuring the cost of shipping it helps to buy from your side of the country to help reduce shipping costs. I normally get the wild bird kit for $20 and with shipping 2nd day it has never went over $35 dollars.

im been ordering from reptilefood.com for about 2 years and had only 1 issue because of a wrong shipment. I called them and next day they sent the right one. I thought it was great service and and a very quick response. I don't plan on changing.

I use Rainbow (sister company of Sunshine) here in California. Their bugs are GREAT, prices are good, and shipping is cheap. I get 10,000 mealworms for $36 + about $6.00 for shipping.

I've used sunshine and premium crickets - been happy with both.

Premium Crickets even messed up and sent me a double order and did not expect any more of a payment (I was nice and paypal'ed a little more because I'm nice that way! - and I got my next shipment even quicker).

I've switched to mostly meallies so I have my own and don't order as much now as I did when I fed mostly crickets.

I've gotten the best price and service deal from reptilefood.com but just found out about a New England local cricket place (cccrickets.com) so I'm trying that out. It's a teeny bit more expensive than reptile food, but I like the idea of local shipping.

With reptile supply the stock isnt that expensive and its top quality stuff, their supers helped our leo's gained weight and we last bought from them 1000 supers MONTHS ago, and theyre still perfectly alive, no deaths except what our geckos ate.

I just found my last invoice from Sunshine to give you an idea....it was $23.25 total, including shipping for 4,ooo bulk mealies, if that helps at all. (I think the shipping was $8-$9 and the worms were $14ish). Again, great looking mealies. I definitely recommend. :main_yes:

hey, im not sure if any one said this, but personally i like to over night anything i order. i dont want them sitting in a truck or a wherehouse. so doing that is automaticly going to put the price of shipping to atleast $15.
but i do buy from 2 places. if i have to order (which i just did on sunday and i know you mentioned you didnt like the price) i order from www.ghann.com , and i got 6000 mealies, and 1000 3/4 size crickets, shipped next day for $61.96. again, thats just my thought. but when im at the reptile shows if i can, i get my animals from http://www.komodoreptiles.com/ . they have 7000 mealies for $50. and i get the crickets for 1000 for $8. thats all just my 2 cents.

good luck

Yeah...we usually order 10,000 mealworms from them about every other week and it comes to like $46.61 including shipping. They always look great too and the geckos love them!
