JCSS was really good, but my fav has always been Tommy. Maybe because I've been a big Tina Turner fan since the days Ike was still smacking her around.
Pick a King Crimson album. They all qualify, with the tracks arrangement on the LP having as much significance as the arrangement of notes in an individual song. I'm kind of partial to Lark's Tongue in Aspic but they're all good.
Edit: I really wish Ike hadn't slapped Tina around the way he did. The whole domestic violence is bad thing applies, but it also made the guy taboo. He was an amazing musician and it's not really okay to say that or listen to him much in public anymore. Because he's "the guy who punched his wife." It's Hank Pym syndrome all over the place.
Since we just saw Roger Waters preform The Wall I had to vote for it. It was the most fantastic stage show either of us had ever seen. Keith might add Queensryche and King Diamond to that list.
