I picked up this poor little girl a little under a year ago. When I picked her up, I was told she had just laid a HUGE number of eggs, and was just under a year old, but the kid would not give me a definite age. At the time, she was the size of a hatchling :( It made me sick how small she was, and what she had been through. I brought her home, and every night I slurry fed her. After about a week, she gained her appetite back, and since then has been a voracious eater. Her color has increasingly gotten better more and more orange. I'll be rehoming her soon, so I thought I would share this huge success with you all :)

Lana - the day I brought her home (I still don't understand how this poor little thing was bred):

Lana now - about 8 months later and 61 grams:

Very nice. glad to hear a possitive rescue story from you. I know it doesn't make up for the last 2 :)() but I hope it makes you feel a little better knowing you are making a difference. :main_thumbsup:

Thanks guys...I don't show her off as often as the rest, but wanted to share what is possible with a little TLC :) She really doesn't look like the same gecko, does she?

Rick, definitely doesn't make up for the last two, but I tried. I've decided to focus on this breeding season now, and am expecting the first eggs ANY day. Very exciting!

Thanks guys :) I'm very proud of her.

Nick, if you'd only have met him, you would understand the last thing he should have been doing was breeding geckos!

Good for you, i always like to see a successful rescue, considering my attempt at a rescue failed.
