biggest non giant females?.....

i just weighed my female bell. shes a whopping 74gs. im just wandering what your biggets females are that arent giants.

i have an 84 gram female that isn't genetically linked to giants. I also have a 90 gram male that isn't a giant. He eats like a horse.

I got a 98 gram non giant from, Ryan and Val, she is a horse too... At least I think she wasn't giant?

and a ton of kelli geckos are not giant and REALLY big!

Derek, do you mean Rumple? If so she wasn't purchased as a giant. Our largest is 109 gram non giant female.

106 gram non giant Hines line super hypo female and 111 gram T. albino (non giant) male. That's their weights in the late summer. This time of the year they're 15-20 grams lighter.

We also had a non giant tang albino female we sent to Paul Allen. She was 110 grams when we sent her out. I'll have to ask him if she got any bigger haha.

but you guys do have some big geckos

i wonder how many geckos are out there that people just dont know that they have giant in them. i know some breeders dont say that there is giant line in there but there is. they do this because the breeders dont want there customers coming back and saying you lied my gecko only got 70 grams or something like that. its hard to say it would be cool if there was a genetic test that could be run to see if the geckos are what they are. especially with hets and giants but i think it would cost more money to get the gecko tested. then the gecko in most cases would cost.

just a thought.

Our normal is about 110 I think, though he looks bigger since we weighed last-no giant there. And our sh het bell female is close to or over 80 I think-and no giant there. I think leos are just getting bigger compared to what they were like 10 yrs ago when what, 35/40g was normal or something?
