Yeah... Black Pearls were just mistakes. They did not mean to get them. But I'm pretty glad they were produced! They are very pretty gex.

To get first you will need to find a seller and there is no one selling any. The only one that I saw for sell couple of weeks ago looks more khaki than black.

Last time I saw some, they were at The Urban Gecko. They cost a fortune! They were at least $3,000 dollars! But they are probably worth it.

The Black Pearl is truly the next step in leopard gecko morphs and combinations. Just imagine a red-eyed Black Pearl, or combined with Raptor, Giant, Super Giant, SHTCT, Enigma, or any of the three albino strands !!
Only time will tell...

a black pearl with red eyes sounds awesome. but it would be brown instead of black because the albino wouldnt allow black pigment.

Touche George, we could always color it in with a sharpie.

I don't know, that's pretty close to my crayola morph I was going to create.

Anyway,
I've seen a black pearl, and was not impressed. I know it was one because I saw the receipt for it. Honestly it looked like a dirty normal. I'm hoping the few breeders out there who are working with this morph will be able to improve the duration of the dark coloration so it lasts into full adulthood and after breeding as well.
