My bold stripes originally came from... ummm... Ron Tremper. When I first started working with them they were really not bold at all. After several years of holding back the 'boldest', I now have a lovely line of bolds stripes! When Robin started producing her fantastic bolds, I wanted some!!! Between she and Kelli, I got a beautiful female from Toughie, and Eenie and Meanie sibling. Now, I am thrilled to have the original R2 pair (Moms & Pops) from Robin. Last year, I held back the BEST offspring from both lines, and will be crossing them this season. I can hardly wait to see what they produce!

(Marula, you have priority for a male bold stripe... you have been waiting for almost a year now!)

if you were here i could give you one. i have a male from pops that looks almost exactly like him. pops was bred to another female than moms and this other gecko was the result :)

Is it possible to bring him to Hamm?

Off course I want those nice clean bold stripes too, I've been looking and looking at Kellis available bold babies, but I didn't know yours got this high quality! They are fantastic!

But a Pop kid is for Blackie.
I got some males hatching out from her now and I'm going for inbreeding 2008. Some day I have to do an out cross ;)

You got a PM!

Very nice Boldstripes everyone!

Kelli your baby has a really cool zick zack bold stripe pattern and it has the longest tail I've ever seen on a leo!

Marcia I love Pops!

That's interesting. I wondered when he started to sell boldstripes on his site a few month ago where he got them from. But the bold stripe line came originally from him?

That's my boldstripe girl I got from Steve Sykes:

First I was a little sad when she started to develop spots between her stripes on her tail. But now it's looking really cool. The spots nearly look like a stripe as well. A three-striped tail:

pop was from the tremper line moms was not. tremper has had stripes for YEARS but just recently started selling them for buttloads (and advertising them on his site) and in my opinion they are not even good examples of bold stripes.

I'll take some updated pics of Toughie and Eenie in a sec, but for now, here is a really cool baby I produced from them. It has an unusually long tail, and though it does not have a perfect even stripe, it is a very unique gecko that I will most likely be holding back.

SWOON. That is an unbelievably beautiful baby!! :smitten:
