Bred on 3/1/11 no eggs yet

Well I am getting worried my enigma het bell was bred on 3/1/11 on still has not laid I am sure she is just taking her time funny thing was I could have sworn I caught her late in ovulation oh well guess I was wrong she hasn't started digging or anything yet so I dont think she is bound or at least I hope not

If she were egg bound you would be able to see the eggs clearly and they would feel firm. To me it sounds like she just didnt take the breeding and may produce some eggs for you on her next ovulation. Its no big deal at all...and ultimately up to them if they fertilize or not.

yeah my snow bell has yet to lay fertile two sets of balloons I can for sure see them but they are not that hard poor girl looks miserable

just because you had some successful breeding does not mean you will get fertile eggs. many times you have to let them breed multiple times to get fertile eggs.

i find if u put the female back in to re-breed the female wants no part of him even though she's ovulating

i leave my male in until i get good fertile eggs. either that or rotate him in and out. i do not wait and watch to see if they have mated. i just let them do their business. i have yet to have a female not become fertile

well thats what i've started doing now, seems the better way to be honest.
apart from the females always ended up climbin at the front of the tubs trying to get out after a while lol

well she started digging last night funny how as soon as I post she figures its time lol
I left my male with my snow for 4 days caught them twice I have now placed her with another male and have seen them once so I hope well mt het bell enigma should be laying any day now I will let you all know
