So at the Repticon show this weekend we were told by a Leo breeder that breeding albinos just isn't done. I asked why and never actually got an answer.
So, today I called our local reptile store to see if there was a way for me to actually find out what our male was because he's our main breeder, and I was told that the statement about breeding albinos was very untrue. I was also told that the only way to find out if he is Bell or Tremper is to breed him with another Bell and Tremper (they can't tell who the original breeder is, there are too many people bringing stuff in an out of the store and i also got him a year ago) and see which comes out normal.
I need thoughts, opinions and facts? Tell me what you know about this. My boyfriend and I are starting up our own little Leo breeding business so knowing this stuff is important, also I enjoy learning new stuff. Thank you so much for your help!
