breeding for colour/pattern

Would anyone be able to suggest what I could cross with my Leopard Geckos to produce some nice looking F2 offspring ?

I Know the F1 offspring will be normal hets (unless Mack Snow is used ?), but it's when these F1 offspring are crossed that I am interested in producing something nice.

I have a Bell Albino, a Patternless & a Hi Yellow.

Also my Patternless appears to have black eyes & my Bell has what looks like golden eyes with 'veins' running through them.
Ive read that Patternless don't usually have black eyes & Bells are supposed to have Pink eyes ?

It would help to know which are male and which are female. In general, what you have at the moment are simple recessive and dominant. As I understand it, your ultimate F2 possibilities (besides normal) are bell, patternless and bell patternless. If you figure out what kind of het or double hets (if you breed a patternless to a bell they will be het for both) you can get and then breed the hets together, you'll get one of the possibiliies listed above at least some of the time.

I didn't mean I would breed the Leopard Geckos I do Have together. I meant what could I cross them to, to produce some nice looking F2 offspring.

Well what is nice looking to you? Do you like what your geckos look like? What are you willing to spend on another leopard gecko? If you answer these questions, then I think I can help you a little bit more. Also can you post some pictures of them?

Also knowing what is Male and female would help. I have maybe 1 Normal adult male and alot of Hi-Yellow Lavendor females hatchlings and possibly 1 or 2 Normal Adult females I can sell.
But just knowing what the sex of each of the leopards in question would help.

If you're going to breed a limited number of geckos, it's a good idea to find some varieties where multiple interesting combinations are possible. For instance I have 4.7 breeders including snow, stripe, albino among the males so I have the option of albino stripe, stripe, hybino, super snow, hypo snow, snow. I can see a number of years of recombinations between males and females before I start totally repeating myself.

I have alot of just normals I play with but serious breeding I have stripes, Mack Snows, Bells and Tangs. That reminds me I need to buy anouther stripe female so I could produce my own Striped Bells if I want.

acpart; I understand what you're saying makes alot of sense.

Ccrashca069; Unfortunately I am in UK sorry - thanks for the offer.

Hally; I like the look of the bright orange colours.
Interested in lavender, but not too sure of how much 'lavender' shows in the particular morph.
Like with corn snakes the 'lavender' is quite visible, especially in hypo lavs. Is that possible to create a hypo lav leopard gecko ?
I would also say that Diablo Blancos are very nice looking & a couple of the Enigmas I've seen too.
Mainly I'm attracted to appearances that stand out, rather than looking 'similar' to another morph in some way.

I am happy with the Leopard Geckos I have but would like to create something with what I have that has a vibrant colour or an appearance that stands out.

Sorry if i sound amateur, if it were corn snakes it would be easier for me, it's very interesting though reading up on the different morphs with Leopard Geckos.

Thanks for all comments/replies.

I'm pretty sure you could create a hypo lav. I don't know how you would go about this, but I do know that it would take you a long time to do it. Then the other part is the money aspect. If you have $1,500 for the best of the best Diablo Blanco, then that is great. If you don’t then you are out of luck, and have to look in your price range. If you have a patty, you can get another patty for $75 + Shipping. And when you pay $75 for a patty, you will get a pretty nice one, at least here in the US. That is what I would do if I where you. Breed the patty to a patty, the albino to an albino of the same strain, and then the normal to another normal. None of these will be geckos that people look at and say, wholly cow. Really to get the geckos that are outstanding will cost you a little bit of money. The other run of the mill geckos, that are outstanding but in huge supplies will not cost as much, but you will also not get as much for the offspring, and you have to pay the same to house and feed the gecko, as well as take the same amount of time to clean its cage. I know I repeated myself a lot in there, but I guess just post your other questions, as it wouldn’t surprise me if my wording threw you off.

No i understand what your saying Halley lol.

I did answer your 'question' about Tang colour & being crossed with the colours having influence, etc. As my above post reads I somehow lost the post ? Maybe it's this laptop ?
