Breeding question

I have done plenty of research on breeding leos but wanted to ask a question from those with first hand experience. I have a male tremper sunglow that is 66g and a female tremper albino that is 56g. They just bred for the first time today. The male is a proven breeder but as far as I know the female is a virgin. So here is my question, How long does it take from the time they mate until she lays her eggs? I have read that its anywhere between 2-6 weeks, but was just wanting to know how long it took for those who have bred leos personally.

2-6 weeks is right on, and even longer if the female isn't ovulating. Happy waiting.

i thought a female woudnt mate unless she was ovulating? odviously im wrong, hows that work then?

I think some females are either laid back, or resigned.
