How many people have started breeding already? I saw a few people commented on a few diff threads. Mine are all still brumating away and I usually don't stick them together until March so to me January struck me as early.

I started in late December but I know a lot of people that start in November. However, most people start anywhere from January to March.

I will put my males in with the females (for the entire season) about Jan 15 but don't expect the first eggs till mid Feb if then. Once the leo males go in with the females, I'll probably take my 2 AFT males out of the females' enclosures for a week and then return them and hope for the best. The earliest I've ever gotten a leo hatch is the first week in April and the latest is Memorial Day weekend (I incubate at 81 so it takes about 8 weeks).

Maybe mine are just lazy cuz they don't snap out of their winter slumber till early spring and I give them time to fatten up and all that before I introduce the male. I only keep my male on there for a day or so and then my females seemt o be good all season. I'm also in Northern Canada and our winters are long, maybe that accounts for part of the late slumbers LOL My bearded dragons also brumate from late Oct until March.
