Hello guys and girls! I've had my gecko for about 2 months now but I'm still a noob and learning :main_thumbsup:. A few days ago I noticed she had this bubble behind her front legs on both sides. It's mostly there when her leg is contracted. Then when she stretches it it goes away. So when she walks it looks like it comes and goes. It feels very soft, almost like air. Is this just the way a gecko's skin is, or should I be worried? I really don't know if she's always had this or not, but I just noticed it a few days ago :main_huh:

It was really hard to get a good picture of it because she was very active and wouldn't sit still. And yes, she is missing 2 toes on her front right foot....that's how I bought her :)

And a shot of her walking around my bed this morning just for the heck of it :D

Yes Thorsten is correct...it could also be a fat pocket, forgot to mention that! Either way, it is nothing to be worried about.

Fatty tissue is not translucent... If you put a light up to those pit bubbles you can see through them... This is how you know they are not fat pockets... The general belief is that it is calcium storage but I do not think it has ever been clinically proven...
