Bug napper?

Ok I was told that it was bad to feed local caught bugs to our animals and then Zoo med comes out with the bug napper? I'm confused a little.:main_huh:

it's fine to feed wild caught insects as long as you live someplace where people dont use pesticides. i ocasinaly feed my leo crickets and grasshoppers i find in the yard, but i live in the country.

Most of these companies will try to sell anything to make a buck. Look at all the companies that sell hot rocks, despite the almost universal opinion that they are bad news. I'm afraid to even mention calcium sand! :main_thumbsdown:
