build up under geckos skin?

Hello... its been awhile since I've posted on here. I have a few leopard geckos and haven't had any problems in a long time. I was cleaning out my rack and noticed that my female tremper albino has what looks like calcium deposits under her skin. One of her back feet also looks like its swollen. This has happen with in the last week or so. shes acting normal beside the leg thats swollen isnt shedding right. heres a few pics to better help figure out whats goin on.

I have never seen anything like that before, not to sound cliche, but with a condition like that I think seeking the advice of a certified veterinarian is in order.

Calcium deposits are one thing, but they usually don't cause swelling of the limbs too...I tend to agree w/Brittney, just to make sure what's going on isn't so serious like Gout or something...send those pics to an herp vet.

Actually swelling of the limbs and calcium deposites go hand in hand with reptiles not processing calcium... The calcium they take in gets deposited into the limbs and joints causing lots of swelling... This is the begining stage of MBD...

Make sure the leo is getting vitamin D3... You can give it two times a week at this point and reduce its vitamin D3 intake as it gets better... Eventually, you want to be dusting feeders with calcium with d3 once a month...

I think your right about the starting of MBD. The weird thing is that i feed all my leos at the same time and they all get dusted crickets weekly. None of the other leos have this problem. I checked into it and found that it does look like the starting of MBD so ill give her more D3 and see how she does.
