Some quick questions:

How often should you clean it/switch it out?

Right now im cleaning it once a week by putting it in the bathtub with hot water for 20-30 minutes, then taking it out and letting it air dry.


How do you clean it? Rinse with water? Put it in the washer?

Should I just put it in the washer instead of the bathtub?
Would it matter what kind of detergent you use, and can you just put it with the other laundry?

I would read the package it comes in... I think it may be washable. When I had mine in I would just put it in the tub and soak it. THen I would take it out and lather it up with foaming hand soap, and rinse it out really well until you couldnt smell it. It worked very well for me. It is reccomended to have two sheets of carpet so you can rotait them in while the other is being cleaned.

I haven't had to wash mine yet, but you supposedly wash it 1 time every 2 weeks and it can be put it in your washer not the bathtub

I used th bathtub, and it worked great... Washing does seem easier.

I've put mine in the washer and in the tub. The tub seemed a little harder for me since I used to really lay into it trying to get everything out, dirt, poop and soap. For the washer I used a mild detergent but would send it into the rinse cycle like 5times.. lol

i usually don't even use detergent. lol.

I have a cleaning issue, Lol. If I don't use soap I don't think it's clean and that's for anything.
