Cagemates

How close in size do cagemates need to be? I am slightly interested in a possible giant, but would need to keep her with a regular leo. Would this be a problem?

Every gecko is different, generally it's best if they're within a few grams of each other and close to the same age. But not all geckos will tolerate a cage mate regardless of the size.

I do not think there would be enough of a size difference to be of concern as long as we are talking adults. It will be up to you to decide as we can not see the difference in size. If you are going to put them together, the way that has worked the best for me:
Clean the cage they are to be put in, clean paper clean water bowl, clean food bowl, clean calcium dish.....Everything clean. You want to be able to remove all scent. Then place them in there together and watch. I stress watch them for a good while to make sure you do not see any fighting. Then continue to watch them at times when you feed them to make sure one is not bullying the other. I have had colonies together for a couple of years and still keep an eye on them. Sorry for being long winded, hopefully it answered your question.

I separate my hatchling clutchmates if one gets noticeably bigger than the other. So far I have been blessed with very easy going adults since they get shifted around each breeding season. The only separating I've had to do was a few weeks ago when my semi-retired breeding female was getting too pestered by the male she was with. I have had 65 gram females in with a 110 gram male with no trouble. I wouldn't assume this would work but fortunately with my particular geckos I haven't had a problem.

Same here, we have a 120 gram male house with two 60 gram females. I think it's more of a problem when the females are too different in size
