The last time I had a look at Reptivite the Vitamin A was way too high for use with geckos. Myself and many breeders have switched to Repashy Calcium Plus, it is an all-in-one supplement with all the vitamins and minerals your geckos need, plus some pigment enhancers to make them pretty. :)

Do you have paypal? If not, you can buy the small bottles of leopard gecko dust at most stores. I've only seen the bags online.

The thing with the little bottles (T-Rex Leopard Gecko Dust) is that you don't know what version you are getting and it won't be as fresh. Go here to find a Repashy Distributor and get the good stuff fresh:

http://www.store.repashy.com/

My stock is dated expiring in 6/2009 or 6/2010, and the sizes are 4oz, 8oz 1.0lbs, 2.0lbs and 4.0lbs. There's a size for everyone. Most of us Repashy Distributors do the larger reptile shows and even some smaller ones, so look for us there too.

I have a couple of these at the Gecko Ranch with Calcium Plus in it for dispensing:

Tip: The foil pouches are resealable, just reseal your bag and keep it in a cool dry place. I keep my open ones in the fridge.

rep-cal works great too. the only downside is it can get expensive. $14.95 at ********!

I've been around a very long time and so has this supplement. ;) It is a good supplement provided that you use it in the manner they direct you to, that is mixing RepCal 50/50 with Herptivite to create an all in one supplement. Just Calcium or Calcium with D3 by itself is only part of what you need. With Calcium Plus the vitamins and minerals are already mixed together in the appropriate amounts for geckos, done! Calcium Plus sticks well to the crickets and mealworms, something RepCal and Herptivite has not done well.

oh and I also checked out the special crested gecko formula and it contains more vitamins. which one would you recommend the "vitamin and Mineral dusting powder" or the crested gecko one?

I haven't tried the bugco supplement so can't give you any feedback on that one. Maybe someone else can.

As far as Crested Geckos, I use Calcium Plus for their crickets and the Crested Gecko Diet which already has the appropriate vitamins in it. This is a tried and true regimen for about a zillion folks working with Rhacodactylus all over the world.
