Can we get a genetics for IDIOTS sticky to combat the retard factor? I will gladly add info to keep this site from being filled with the same questions that you can easily answer in a 5 minute internet search.

No joke, I get PM's about simple crosses far to much from members I have never dealt with, nor do I think I will. I can only be nice for so long before they get ANNOYING. I don't want to be rude, so there's my dilemma.

I may have asked you a few simple questions myself. But I would rather ask you then reading it from someone who may or may not no what there talking about. I have seen several caresheets on the web that is way off base. When I hear the answer from you or Gregg or a few other members I know its correct.

Occasionally though it seems people don't want to believe what you say! It doesn't make sense, they ask for help, and every response we give them, they don't accept!

Haha what chews my ass is the people who try to negotiate shipping.. I say flat rate $55 they don't want that.. they want special on the shipping...one kid asked for that...i ended up charging him like 70 bucks for shipping instead and i told him it was his choice lol

I don't give a crap if that kid is 13 or 30, Nigel learned I was breeding snakes at 14 before the internet, I fucking learned! Besides, he was just an example.

I am talking about the 1000+ questions I get via PM or Email from members asking simple genetics answers. "what will a raptor X SS het tremper make" " enigma het bell x bell" ,
" tremper het raptor x raptor"

I don't mind answering the questions like " How did you produce {animal} ? " or a complicated genetic question that has recessives, dominants, line bred and "polygenetic" traits all combined... to a degree It's the lazy simple answer posts that bother me .

I've even been getting pm's lately and I'm not even good with percentages. I don't mind questions at all, but a lot of times they only listen if you tell them what they want to hear.:main_rolleyes: If someone has a good question and really wants to learn, I'm all for helping. I know I've need help many times.

I enjoy helping other achive goals by all means and have helped many people . It's the simple genetics that bother me repeatedly. I want to say" PLEASE DON'T BREED IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO RESEARCH GENETICS"

It's pretty easy too, you learn simple genetics as early as 6th grade, if not earlier.
