is toilet paper unhealthy for them, or is it alright?

Toilet paper is just kind of fragile, especially around liquids, so there's a good chance that it will get torn up as a poop area. I get bathroom tiles from the home improvement store and install one as the poop area so it can just be cleaned off.

well, i just take a whole bunch, fold it over a few times, and put it there. It never soaks thru or anyhting. I just wanted to know if it would be dangerouse to her. Thanks!

I know a lot of people do use toilet paper but, paper towels would be a little sturdier to keep from tearing up and getting ingested. Just make sure to get it out of there regularly so it doesn't mold if it gets wet. The other option with a solid spot like the tiles Aliza was talking about is using a very small hand vaccum to clean it up and the just a light spray down would do the trick, very quick and easy.
