OK, so I found a place that sells live mealworms that look healthy, so I thought I would see if Puzzle would eat some, and try to beef him up a bit. He ate a couple when I put them on the ground near him, but then after there weren't any more, he starting hunting his tail, and attacking his own tail, like it was a mealworm! LOL have any of you ever seen your geckos do this?

I figure I'll leave them in the dish and see if they are gone when I go back in a little while.

I have seen them, when in hunting mode, think of anything moving as a prey. So I wouldn't doubt them doing that...must have been funny :D
Ya, you should leave some in the dish.

Here is a bearded dragon that bit her own tail when I was feeding crix. She bit real quick and let go so she didn’t lose her tail but as you can see it is not straight =s...

So I guess they will bite themselves lol :main_laugh: (at least beardeds).
