Cheap place to buy lots of styrofoam?

went to the Hobby Lobby and they wanted 9.00 for a 1'x 2.5' x1in thick piece. for the tank im making id spend hundreds lol

i need a CHEAPER place to find it.

Home Depot, Lowes or anyplace that will sell construction supplies (hardware stores, many lumber yards). Rigid sheets of insulating styro are pretty inexpensive and because they're composed of very fine granules, very easy to work without splitting or fraying. Get a dremmel, go to town.

The best place that I found for styrofoam that isn't way to expensive is ebay. I believe I got 10 sheets of 1" thick pieces that measured 20" x 20". It was right around 20 shipped.

I got a pack of 10 36" x 12"x 1" thick strryfoam retangle pices for $5 bucks at Lowes

at homehardware there is 2ft X 8 ft sheets for $33 not sure if thats good but it would have cost me 200 to buy the amount i needed. a friand came threw with it tho for free you could always ask around youd be surprized by what people have laying around.
