I never said anything about me breeding a pretty adult. I said that people think pretty adults mean they have good genes. Just because I am new to the land of Leopard Geckos doesn't mean I am not well educated with genetics. I actually have a degree in Wildlife ecology.
Yes, but many breeders know the genes in a leo back for generations. With a pet store leo, you have no idea what's in there. And if you'll notice, I said it's more likely in pet store leos - not that it's impossible in leos direct from the breeder.
The fact that you think a pretty adult automatically is a viable breeding option leads me to believe that you should never breed anything.
