Not the first species of reptiles to be scaless or partially scaless and won't be the last. I do find it interesting and wonder how it does compared to ones without this condition. Most of all how it feels to the touch. looks soft.
hey fe, scaleless snakes have showen to be healthy from what i have seen. i havent seen any problems with them or heard of any. compaired to the lizards that dont do very well cause most lizards need UV where as the snakes dont. the scales protect the lizards from the danger of UV but still alow the amount needed to survive to be absorbed. and as for the feel... they feel like pinkies or hairless rats.
