chlorhexadine solution

I have a gallon of 2 % chlorhexadine solution.Has anyone used this.There was a classified ad on this item that says to cut it 1 oz of chlorhexadine solution to every gallon of water.can anyone confirm this.I called the maufacture and they tell me technically i should use this product on a 1:1 ration eg; 6oz of water to 6oz of chlorhexadine and let it sit for 3 hrs.

The link u gave was for a Quat product.Is this the same as Chlorhexadine.Unfortunatley the 1 gallon jug has no directions on it.It is the patented name of Chlorhexadine.I read that someone mixe 1oz to 1 gallon of water.Does that sound right kelli ??

chlorhexidine is 1oz. of chlorhexidine per 64oz. (i gallon) of water.. so if you have a 32oz. sprayer add 1/2oz. of chlorhexidine.

also quat and chlorhexidine are completely different. chlorhexidine is MUCH safer to use than quats.
