I cant stand when a breeder puts an ad on the classified and then when i contact the person they either dont email me back or they say they havent got time to take pics.well i'm certainly not going to buy your animal if i dont know what it looks like. IF U DONT WANT TO SELL YOUR ANIMALS THAN DONT PUT AN AD UP !!!at least have the decency to email me back either way.if u dont want to answer my emails i'll take my $1350 elsewhere and buy somwhere else.

Most definitely! Worse, I think, is people who express interest in your animal (that you're selling) but then never email you back to say "no thanks" or to close the deal. They just leave it open ended and you're supposed to figure out that they don't want it. It wastes the seller's time and sometimes prevents another person from getting the animal in question.

I have found in general that the way people seem to use email and other forms of posting is to just not respond when they're "done". I have gotten messages from people interested in buying my geckos essentially saying "yes, I love her I want her" but when I respond asking about where to meet and payment, I get nothing back ever again. It's annoying and frustrating and sometimes I include in my initial communication that I'd like them to let me know if they're not interested and it will be fine, but they generally don't comply. I have no choice but to either put up with it or only do in-person sales.

i agree. i tend to see alot of that on CL when i post on there people say o i like it i like it then ask where to meet and stuff they just fall off the earth or they want the animal for free its like i did not put free on my ad so this is what it is its already low but these geckos are former breeders and only need to be pets now or geckos i have acquired and found they have stuff i would not consider to use in my breeding projects (ie- kinked tails, eye notches, etc) and i dont know their lineage or how they hatched so i rather be safe than sorry when breeding. On here i haven't experienced to much of it unless you have a seller saying something for much less than normal then your unlikely to get pictures n stuff. I am always on top of things when i am selling animals and if i dont have the time at that moment to get photos or weights to something i just write back to say can i get them for you tomorrow or later or something is that okay you know. You dont just take someone i dont have the time blah blah thats just poor customer service imo, and wow so much money i wish i had that to spend right now. lol.
