So my gecko has recently been pooping in his hide, it has started to stink so i want to disinfect and clean it. I was wondering on what i should use and what would be safe. I was thinking about using clorox wipes but I'm unsure as if that is safe or not. I was also unsure whether to put this in health or in here. Thanks in advance for any advice that is given for it is much appreciated!:D

I use antibacterial handsoap for the tiles, dishes, and the decors. For the tank, I have a reptile tank cleaner spray from Petsmart or Petco (forgot which). It's great for cleaning smudges off the glass.

But 1 part bleach per 9 parts water can be used to clean anything.

Ditto... I sometimes sneak things in the dishwater since I have a Sanitize button. Steam clean all hides and decor.

I always use the sanitize button and the extra heat button on my dishwater too because I wash all sorts of containers that I use for my dog, ants, fish, feeders, and geckos together with my normal dishes.

I use bleach.
Rinsed well and let sit with some dechlorinater in the tank for a few minutes.
Works like a charm.

I use Green Works all purpose cleaner made by Clorox. It's non toxic, leaves no residue or smell once it's dry, and it's made from plants. I have used it on all of my BPs, corns, and geckos for several years now.
