Hi everyone,
I wanted to get an opinion on this. I am going to buy a new rack system for some leopard geckos, and I need some help.
I can choose either clear, or non-clear tubs for the rack. The non-clear tubs would cause the geckos to be in darkness 24/7 for the most part. The clear tubs would allow ambient light.
Which should I go with? Does ambient light matter for breeding/cycling geckos? I know they are nocturnal, but would 24/7 darkness be too much?
The other consideration I can see is that the tubs will be next to each other. With clear tubs, they will be able to see each other, which maybe could cause stress?
I would love to hear any opinions on this. If this has been asked before sorry I am new to this forum.
Thanks!
