I may be a little behind or very behind on this but I have recently been seeing a lot of co dom bells. Last I knew bells were recessive. When did This change? I feel Like I totally missed something big, or was just somehow oblivious of the existence of co dom bells from the start. lol :main_huh: I'm almost embarrassed to even ask this but I have to!

The Co-Dom Bell is a combination morph between a Co-Dom Mack Snow and a Bell Albino. So really the only part that is Co-Dom is the Mack snow part the bell albino genes would still work as a recessive trait.

Some people refer to Mack Snow Bells as "co-dom Bells", since Mack Snows are co-dominant.
I actually belive Mack Snows are Incomplete-Dominate. It is like crossing Red and White Flowers. For the F1 Gen, you'll get Pink. When a Mack Snow is het for Super Snow, instead of the Pink in the flowers, you get a cross between a normal and a Super Snow.

It's true, the Mack Snows are not actually co dominant but incomplete dominant. For some reason herp people call these co dom, not sure how it got started or even why.

I agree that the Macks are not Co-Dominant. I also believe that they are Incomplete Dominant. There was a discussion about this on another thread, but I am not sure how many people actually took the time to read through it.
The term Co-Dominant is very misused in the snake world also.

It didn't help that Ron Tremper called Mack Snows Co-Dom in his book :main_no: :main_thumbsdown:
