So I have another newbie question. :) I know that babies change color/pattern as they age and will look very different as adults than when they did when they hatched. At what age/ size is it safe to say they won't change much anymore?

I've had a lot of variable experience with color change vs. age...

At this point, I would be comfortable with saying their colors are pretty "set-in" by 2 years of age...obviously it will vary with everyone's geckos...but by the second season they should be showing full adult colors.

^ this, for the most part you should have a good idea by even 1 year as to what they are going to look like but loss or gain of melano pigments, tail coloration and fadding of baby bands may take a little while. It also depends on the morph its self.

hmmm.... Okay. So for example if I want to buy a bold stripe, how will I know how good it will be if I buy it at 14 grams? Do I just trust the quality of the breeder or is there a way to judge them when they're that small?
