Wow, very nice. I'm not a snake guy, but I must say that is one sweet looking snake. I'd love to get one some day (maybe a corn), but Val hates them.

All the people who ignored me when I "inquired about availability" at their website lost out on a good size sale. LOL.:D

I love Ball Pythons... I want to get one soooooo bad it hurts lol. But I've been told to get a corn snake first before getting a ball, due to finicky eating common with BPs... So now i have to convince my father to allow me to get a corn snake and then convince him to allow me to get a ball... huh... Anyways... BEAUTIFUL snake, grats on new arrivals!!!

A healthy captive bred ball is not difficult to feed.
Most of mine take f/t right off the floor of the tub. Drop it in and walk away and they go over and eat.
It's the petstore (imports) that are the problems or if you import an adult animal.

Buy a captive bred baby from a breeder and you won't have the problems that are typically associated with these snakes. Imports have given them a bad rap.

Well... its not that they are difficult to feed when they want to its that usually they can go on a "I dont want to eat" spells that causes stress on the owner. At least thats what many keepers and breeders have told me.

I have 1 out of 15 that will skip a meal and not eat every week.
That one only wants to eat every 2 weeks.
By not offering huge meals each week like some people do, you will find that they do not go off feed as much as people say. Instead of the medium rat, feed it a small one. A lot of people feed these things way too large a prey item and then wonder why the snake stops eating so it can catch up.

Are you tryin to convince me to get a BP over a Corn, as a first snake? Please dont tempt me cuz i would get one in a heart beat hehe. Its something about them that attracts me to them... maybe because they have a not a scary pressence, but a bad ass one compared to the loveable leos i keep. I think im gona strive to have a BP in my care by the end of the summer! *crosses fingers* If i get a full scholorship for school, my father cant say no! hehehe Time to step my game up!

No. Go with the one you like the best.
I'm just saying that the bad rap of them not eating is based upon peoples experience with petstore animals, imports shipped over before they even have their first shed, and imported adults.

An established baby BP would be good choice and an established baby corn would be a good choice for a first snake.
