Cost for a new 20 long

I am thinking about upgrading my gecko's tank to a 20 gallon long.

What I want to know is how much it would cost for a :

-New 20 gallon long glass aquarium
-UTH for this aquarium
-Cage Carpet for this aquarium

Im also going to go look it up, and then average it out with what you guys think.

The cost would really depend on where you are getting the things from. I would say that it would probally not cost more than $60

Well the UTH is about $15 here, and the carpet is from $7-$15.

The tank ranges alot I bought mine for over $100 a few years ago, but I also just bought a 10 gallon for $11,so Im going to guess around $50-70

20 gallons are 40. I just went yesterday, I think they are way overpriced at these places, I got a 40G breeder at a show for 60 bucks.. Just stinks they are always happening when I don't NEED something

Check out Craig's List. I just got me 40 gallon with uth, lights, and some stuff I really don't need. But I got it for $25. Just had to drive an hour to pick it up. But what a deal! :main_thumbsup:

if you can find one used from a local pet store,. you can save alot of cash. I just got one for $7. it was modded to be a turtle tank, but even with the side glass partially cut, it works perfectly.

Most 20gallons brand new are $40 without a cover but I was lucky enough to find a pretty new 20gallon long with a screen cover for only 20bucks. i thought it was going to be horrible but when I saw it I was in shock it couldn't have been more then a few months old and I personally get my tank stuff from ReptileSupply.com if I'm making a bigish order (Vitamins, Substrate, UTH, etc) because they have REALLY good prices.

They are between 45 and 63 dollars here depends on what store you goto. I have a guy who sells feeders and some reptiles and also has a walk through snake room. He sells me 20 longs for 20 bucks all the time. They are usually used but used tanks clean up good. I'm always coming home saying "baby I just could pass it up".

I saw one at the retail store that will be *'d out if I type it for <$20, without the lid, but the lid was like $10-ish... didn't actually buy it though as I found one on the side of the road (lucky!)

Ok, just got back from the pet store and I got a new 20 long tank for 30$, a screen top for 10$, a 30-40 gallon size UTH for 30$, and repti carpet for a 29 gallon for 10$
