I have what I think are two Females (I know for sure one is female because the person I got her off of breed her once - 3 yrs old) ... The other one I have my doubts as it seems to have femoral pores ... I had them separated for the past month to quarantine ... I am getting a male this weekend and figured I would put them together in my breeder colony tub till he is ready ... So, the one I know is a female seems to chase the other away any time they cross paths, go near the same hide and even bites at it ... So I am now starting to suspect she is a he and the known female is being aggressive because she wants nothing to do with what may be a male?

I have attached a picture of the gecko whose sex is in question (the gecko is 52 g and breeder indicated it was 4 - 5 months old.)

Is it just normal for even females to fight a little when first introduced?
(I have never housed geckos together always separate.)

Any thoughts?

Here are a few more pics to try and get a better look ... Like I said also it is about 6 inches in size at this point.

I included a full shot also, some close ups and a picture of where the other one bit it last night :(

I am guess if it is a male and she does not want him around, I should get him out for now so he does not get bit any more?

However when should he move back in ... Once I have all the other females in there for a while?

Not really.. some females get along better than others. We have many females housed together that do not fight, but we also (awhile back) had two females together, where one would chase the other all of the time. Needless to say, the female was a capitol B. She was very aggressive towards every other gecko she came across. She would even ram into the sides of the bin (towards me) when I came into the room. She was mean! On another note, we've had perfectly nice females fight with others as well. Our sweetest little Snow female gets along great with our mack snow female, but when introduced to any other female, she bites and gets mean lol. The point here is that all geckos are different in personality, just like people; and sometimes two just do not get along.

So should I seperate these two at this point? They do not go at it 24 hrs ... But 75% of the time when the two cross paths the one runs the other off ... Does the bite warrant a seperation?

i would say yes. or you may possibly wind up with some nipped tails..

just to be on the safe side i would personlay seperate them.......

and i want to say that im pretty sure that you have all females in all the pictures. eaven the females will have the v shaped scales just not the large poors the males have and notice no hemipinal bulges are visable.
