We just got this albino super giant from RT today. There's something a little weird going on with the eyes. Anyone ever seen something like this in a supposedly regular albino before? She is somewhat light sensitive but we won't know exactly how well she sees until she's interested in food I guess.
(Sorry about the blurry pics. I couldn't find my close up lens.)

I'm actually wondering now if she can see out of her right eye (last 2 pics). It doesn't seem like there's any reaction in the pupil to low light or bright light.

I've never seen anything like that...but apparently leopard gecko eyes offer untold wonders. lol What did Ron have to say about it? Doesn't look like she's been affected by it. I'd love to see a full body picture of that one also if you guys get a chance.

You guys gotta stop punching your leos in the eyes...LOL

Looks like the albinism only affected some of the eye... Paradox eyes??? Very cool...

So Ron just emailed back and said that they're Snake Eyes. ("which is a bonus and expensive trait") lol :rolleyes2:

They don't look like regular snake eyes or do they? :main_huh:

Anyway, here's more pics of her -

Interesting to follow this, and i hope she isn't blind or anything...

Id say when you take it to a vet for a check up... make sure he takes a look at those eyes... theres something different, in an odd way about them. Would be awesome if it has no problems.

the eyes almost dont look healthy to me, Rons animals worry me, for the fact that he has been inbreeding for so long, I dont understand how it doesnt affect the geckos

I agree those don't look like snake eyes. Gregg's idea of paradox is interesting. But the pupils don't quite look right in either pic, especially her right eye.

But WOW LQQK AT THAT MALE!!!

I agree with felicia the pupils just do not look right. Not to say snake eyes do, but If the pupils are not dialating correctly to light thats a problem. I wouldn't be overly concerned it is a juvie/adult so it has been eating. Just a suggestion.... When you feed it, put a worm, cricket etc. off to the right and left sides of the leos head w/ some tweezers. Beautiful animals non the less.
Good luck with them hopefully everything turns out ok.
Keep us posted!
