What is the behavior of the Crested Gecko? Tokay geckos are notorious for having a quite the temper, so I didn't want to get one of those, but what's the Crested Gecko like?

How are they price wise against leopard geckos?

The store where I live literally had two Crested Geckos last September (which is the last time I went) and each were $100. Hopefully next time I go they'll have more and the price will be down, plus if there is a sale, I can get one for cheap.

Cresties are overall pretty mellow gentle sticky-toe geckos. I love mine, I have 13, plus 4 hatchlings and 11 eggs incubating.
They're very prolific. Their cost can vary depending on morph, where you live, and where you get them from.
In the U.S., stores carry them from 50 bucks up to around 100, depending.
Breeders you can get them from from as low as $35 bucks up to about 500+ for rare or spectacular morphs.
While each Crestie has its own personality, they are really delightful geckos to work with.
I have one who sleeps in my pocket, comes on walks with me, does outreaches, and eats dinner out of his little dish next to us.
I actually have a soft spot for all my Rhacodactylus species...:main_thumbsup:
