Please help!
I’ve had a gecko for a couple months- I love him but he was sprung on me very quickly with little background knowledge. I’ve done some research and I need to do better. I'm trying to get him a better set up and any advice would be appreciated!
tank size, foliage, etc, anything really! Links would also be beneficial…
I’m a college students so I’m trying not to spend too much, but I know I’ll need to get stuff that’s good quality!
Thank you from me and Tuffnut

Here's what I've found out from my crested gecko keeping: a 12"x12"x18" cage is too small for an adult ( I don't know what size you have, but I thought I'd put that out there). I use 18x18x18 or 24 and that works fine. I use live plants and one of my geckos in particular likes to wrap himself in the plants to sleep during the day. Another one prefers to be in his hide that attaches to the side of the enclosure with magnets. I have some fake vines in the enclosure for the plants (I have pothos) to climb up but I see the gecko on the vines as well. I also have some large pieces of cork bark that they seem to like sitting on.
