please note, this is not an issue with temperatures. the clutchmate is in the same tub and still bright yellow and black. my temps are accurate

thanks man, and don't worry about the 2am phone call, lol. it was nice hearing what you had to say about this little one. much respect goes to you for producing the awesome parents. already have another two that hatched out and one is getting darker as well. and also should be hatching out another two any day. female stopped laying but hopefully we'll have 6 awesome pure afghan babies this year.

wait until you see her in person. i just hope she keeps getting darker and darker. im thinking the girl from the second clutch is starting to darken up like this one as well. definite holdback, lol

this is awesome! i'd also be interested to see pictures of a normal looking gecko next to it for comparison. as well as pictures of the parents. theres just something amazing about getting a really dark leopard gecko.
