Well...I made a big mistake!

I have one female leo that refuses to eat ANYTHING but crickets. I've tried mealies, supers, roaches, waxies...nothing. So I want out and bought some crickets. Well, when feeding her, I decided to let all the leos have some crickets. I hate hate hate crickets. Noisy, smelling, jump everywhere...not my thing. And guess what? Now EVERYONE is addicted to the darn crickets (except a few will still eat roaches). I'd rather feed the mealies and roaches that I breed...but some of my leos are breeding so I can't exactly refuse food for them to get them to eat anything else. So, I'm stuck with these darn crickets.

Any ideas? I'm offering meal worms in bowls, and letting them lose in the cage as well with no luck.

Good luck. Even the geckos that I breed and hold back and raise exclusively on mealworms become cricket addicts. Only 1 out of my 14 leos eats mealworms.

Thanks. Hopefully I'll get them to switch, and I'll NEVER offer crickets again.

Mine did (minus the crickets) until I offered crickets...now it's just crickets.

What species of Roaches are you using? It may help to try a different species. Maybe one of the faster species will appeal to your leos?

Turkish, Lobster, and Dubia. So they have a LOT of variety.
