It looks like a light colored normal to me (not albino)....a lot of times when the bands are light like that, the gecko turns out to be a nice hypo or super hypo.

maybe this is a better pic. but i really dont think its normal or even hypo ive hatched alot of geckos from this group and even though the others in the first pic look normal they turn into really nice hypos thanks kirk

That pic does help...but it still doesn't look albino. The closest albino would be a "chocolate" tremper (aka "trempers are brown"), but the eyes on your little one are normal eyes, not albino eyes.

I agree they look awefully dark to be albino. Then again if they were incubated at low temps they would be. Check out the eyes or try to get us a close up of the eyes.

dark geckos

ok jungle is 100% tremper albino incubated at 83 degrees thats why it is very dark, and the other gecko is from hypos 66% het (tremper) incubated at the same temp. and the eyes are black as can be seen in the second pic. im not tryin to get postal or anything LOL but look closely at the last pic you can clearly see a difference in the eyes.maybe it is just a dark hypo? LOL ahhh well i guess ill wait and see thanks for the input. Kirk

in your post you said THEY a few times the jungle in the last pic is 100 % let me repeat 100 % tremper albino. and was posted for comparison of color to the other gecko. the gecko in question is the "normal" patterned gecko with the black eyes. i guess what your saying is if it has black eyes its not an albino. i just wanted to clarify that one actually is albino thanks kirk

I think calling it a tremoer would be ok but way to early to day hybino yet. All the hybinos I have hatched start banded then hypo out as they go. I have also hatched hybinos at 83 degrees and dont look near that dark so I would say normal poss. a nice hypo later on.

The leo in question (banded) is just a light colored hypo.... So, no, you did not hatch an albino or hybino.... The dark eyes give it away... That hatchling will surely be nice as it matures though...
