The last pic is him/her sticking his little nose out :)

The breeder pair is a male Mack Snow and female Tremper Albino.

Is this a Super Snow?

Both parents would have to be Mack Snows to produce a Super Snow. The hatchling looks like a Blizzard to me which still doesn't make any sense from what you say the parents genetics are. Are the parents from a breeder?

To me it looks more like a Supersnow than a blizzard, especially because of the solid black eyes. Could be that the albino is actually a Mack snow. As I posted on another (still unresponded to) thread, something similar happened to me last week. My male Mack snow and my female Aptor (or so I thought) produced a super snow. Still haven't gotten confirmation from the breeder that the female is a Mack snow, but she must be.

I know there are mack snow albinos... I actually looked that up before posting... But it looks nothing like the pictures or descriptions from what I've seen. Can the snow gene be hidden? The eyes do look solid black but all my other hatchlings were black also when they were first born. Eventually they changed color... So it may be too early to say the eyes are solid black.

Your Albino could be a Mack Snow Tremper Albino and just not be expressing much of the Snow gene.
Mack Snow is co-dom so it could be that it just is more "hidden" in the looks of your Gecko.
Very strange indeed.

Thank you all for your replies.... I'm going to have to agree that the Tremper Albino has either snow or blizzard. So just by looking at the hatchling... how do I tell if it is snow or blizzard? I'll post some better pics.

Here is a couple pics of a newly hatched SS. Now keep in mind just like any morph the animals do vary in color some are darker and some are lighter but this will give you an idea. This is why it is very important to know the exact genetics of any and all animals you decide to breed.

I'd say blizzard based on the pictures, but some supersnows are born very light. If it develops black spots, it's a super snow.

I agree with OhioGecko on this one, it looks like a blizzard, so your tremper albino must be het. for blizzard. It looks just like a bell albino het. blizzard that they are selling at LllReptile right now, only the eyes and pattern are different. I wouldn't doubt that albino of yours had mixed parents and that explains the blizzard baby ^^

To get a blizzard both the male and female would have to be het for blizzard which is possible but seems kinda unlikely to me. Snow can't be hidden because its dominant but it can sometimes be pretty hard to tell if they're snow or not once they're full grown. Some of the pictures of adult albino snows I've seen seemed to have whiter bases to their tails with not much else different about them. My guess would be super snow just because I think the likelihood of both parents being het for blizzard would be low. You'll know in a couple months if he develops spots or not. Keep us posted! I want to know how he turns out :)

Hi all... Just wanted to post an update. Eyes are still solid black and no signs of spots or any type of color. What is interesting is that it's clutchmate (mack snow) is already developing spots.
