hey all... as you may or maynot of read already, we picked up a male/female pair of leos today, we put them into a 20Long divided by a piece of cardboard so they each have half... my question is this... ever sence we have put them in there new home... both of them keep trying to climb the glass... kind of like digging... any ideas why?? is this just cuz they are in a new home? should we be worried? any thoughts? thanks in advanced for any and all help!

Yes, this is pretty normal behavior, they do it a lot when they are first in new homes, and also may continue to do it every so often, long after getting accustomed. As for why.. I would think it's due to them just learning their new boundaries/testing the perimeter.

Do you have "forts" for them to go and hide in? Also, if they're albinos, they're extra light sensitive--you need to provide a place where they can escape from the light and feel safe and secure. Most geckos won't eat unless they feel safe. Just let them be, and don't hold them for a week or 2 until they've adjusted to their new surroundings. and congrats on the new geckos! :main_thumbsup:

I've had a male normal for 4 1/2 years and he still thinks if he digs enough he's going to make it into the living room.

What Jess said in post 2.

Also, double check your temps.
There may be a reason they want out!!
