So glad you bumped this thread! I missed it! I'm making it a "family vacation". We've got 2 young children, so we will probably go early to have dinner then hang for a while with everyone. I'm looking forward to putting names to faces!

As of right now me and my are planning on going,my wife is due with twins aug 27th but will probally go earlier.So hopefully I can go so I can meet some of you too If I can remember names and faces.

Absolutely! I just know my kids won't wait until 7pm to eat. So we will get there early to eat... their food sounds AWESOME (just looked at their menu online) And we are definately going to meet you all there! Sounds like a blast!

Oh, there's 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids)...forgot mention the first time.

I'm so bummed that I will miss the show this year. I am having cervical spine surgery on Aug. 13, and my recovery could take up to 6 months. Hopefully, I'll be back better than ever in 2010!

Marcia, I will be praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery! I am sorry that I am going to miss meeting you! You have been such an encouragement to the GF community! I hope you will be healed better than ever and I look forward to seeing you next year at Daytona! Or maybe the "Leopard Gecko Symposium" in March?

Marcia, good luck with your surgery, you'll be sorely missed at Daytona!

I actually wasn't going to go this year because I thought I had my PhD comprehensive exams in August, but thankfully I don't have to take them until spring semester. So! This impoverished graduate student will be camping at Tomoka State Park, about 10 miles north of Daytona. It's only $25 a night, and I figure any money I can save can be spent on goodies at the show! I'll be arriving around noon on Saturday, so I'll try and meet everyone for dinner that night. I can't wait!
