Hey all,
My son (17) and I have been discussing another pet to add to the "family". Currently we have a Morkie (Maltese and Yorkshire terrier cross) and about 2 dozen different species of tarantulas. After discussing and debating on which pet would be next, we settings on the leopard gecko. Mainly because it will live comfortably in our environment without a lot of work, which is ideal for us. I work 2 jobs and my son is in high school so there's not a lot of time for us to spend maintaining humidity levels and what not for other pets we looked at.
So here we are. learning and researching leopard geckos in preparation to own one
Little about me - Single parent, work as tech support for an engineering firm, and fix computers on the side. I'm one of the blessed few that get paid to do my hobby My son is a junior in high school. We live in central Idaho up in the mountains. Camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities is how we spend our summer, but we become hermits in the winter, specially when we've gotten over 5 ft of snow like we have this year.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and learning about our future pet!
