And Frank Retes never earned a degree in Biology............but he is probably one of the better "biologists" there is.
I'm certainly not saying RT is right....I'm merely pointing out that degrees are not the only way of accumulating knowledge. Degrees simply demonstrate you have the ability to learn. Its merely a start, your education is supposed to give you the tools to learn, not teach you everything you need to know about a certain field.
I'm certainly not trying to bash anyone's ethics or buisness and whatnot, I just belive it's a fallacy to refer to somone with a big name to try to sound impressive.
Sure people can learn a lot without a degree, but i would feel safer getting my info from an authority on the subject.
